Reward offered for Nipomo bank robbery suspect

The FBI and San Luis Obispo County sheriff deputies are investigating a robbery at a Nipomo bank.

Crime Stoppers in San Luis Obispo is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.

If you have information, you call call Crime Stoppers at 805-549-7867. You can also text your tip to Crime Stoppers by texting “SLOTIPS plus your message” to CRIMES (274637).

It happened on the 500 block of Tefft Street around 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the Coast Hills Federal Credit Union.

Sheriff officials said a woman walked into the bank, demanded money and then walked out.

It is unknown how much money she got away with. Authorities said it was mentioned the alleged robber had a weapon but it was never seen.
