Shoppers enjoy free trolleys this summer
Free trolleys are on a roll this summer for shoppers in several local communities.
The trolleys are expected to boost business by making it easier for shoppers to get from one commercial area, or mall, to another without the hassle of driving and parking.
The trolleys are in Santa Barbara, Ventura, Pismo Beach and Avila Beach.
One takes shoppers from the Paseo Nuevo mall in Santa Barbara downtown to the La Cumbre Plaza on the other side of town.
It also makes a few stops at hotels to pick up visitors.
The shuttle trolley in Ventura takes shoppers from downtown to the marina and back.
