Assistance League needs assistance following theft

On June 3, Operation School Bell’s bungalow behind Fremont Middle School, in Oxnard, had dozens of hooded jackets stolen. There was no forced entry during the theft.

Operation School Bell has been providing new school clothing and supplies to underprivileged children since 1993. The program has helped more than 12,000 children.

This is the first time since its establishment the bungalow has experienced a theft. The heartbroken volunteers of Operation School Bell hope to have enough inventory before the school year begins in September.
