Man shot, another dead in Oxnard

A man was rushed to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds and another man was found dead on Sunday.

It happened on the 4500 block of Syracuse Drive near Lincoln Court.

Oxnard Police found a victim who was shot numerous times. He was taken to the Ventura County Medical Center for treatment. He’s listen in stable condition and expected to survive.

Officers learned of another male at the scene but was unsure if he was a suspect.

The SWAT team was called in an homes evacuated.

Police deployed a flash bang grenade to get the suspects attention, but there was no response.

A K-9 and officer entered the home and found the body of an Oxnard man in his 30s.
