Boy on bike dies after being hit by car

Camarillo police officials said a 12-year-old boy riding his bike died after being hit by a car.

He was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.

It happened just after 5 p.m. on Sunday on the corner of Edgemont and Carmen Drive.

Police are trying to find out what caused the accident.
