Two bodies found in tent at SLO County campground
San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the discovery of two bodies at the La Panza Campground.
A sheriff’s official told NewsChannel 3, technicians spent much of Thursday night processing the scene. Investigators believe the circumstances are not suspicious, however they did not release any further details about what might have happened.
The camp host reported the grim discovery just after 2 p.m. Thursday.
Authorities have not released the identities or the sex of the victims.
The La Panza campground is located near near Santa Margarita, in the Los Padres National Forest.
