5K run to raise money for local girl, Sorel Kolendrianos

Community members are encouraged to come out to support the Kolendrianos family on Saturday.

It’s an example of what’s right.

Local trainer and life motivator Jenny Schatzle is hosting the second annual 5K Run/Walk For Sorel.

7-year-old Sorel Kolendrianos suffers from Rett Disease, a rare developmental disorder.

All ages are welcome to participate in event.

There is no entry fee, but donations are welcome, and all of the proceeds will go to help Sorel’s family cover the cost of her treatment.

The run will start at Chase Palm Park Saturday at 9 a.m.
