Target store still working on Goleta site
Goleta leaders say they are working closely with Target on a store proposal for the city.
“Target’s application is complete. They met with our Design Review Board. We’re looking forward to them joining our city,” said Mayor Roger Aceves.
Target has been one of the top businesses local residents have, for years, asked Goleta and Santa Barbara leaders to pursue.
Aceves says it will still take many public meetings and several months before the plan is before the city council for a vote.
The proposed site is on Hollister Ave. at Los Carneros.
