UCSB falls in day two of regionals
UCSB lead 2 to 1 in the third, when Oregon State rallied back in 9th thanks to a Danny Hayes walk that sent Andy Peterson home to score the winning run. The Gauchos will face Texas A&M on Sunday in a must win game.
Fellow Big West Rivals Cal Poly blew a four run lead as UCLA tied it in the 6th and then took the go ahead runs in the 7th to beat the Mustangs 6 to 4. Cal Poly will face San Diego on Sunday, also in a must win situation.
