Oxnard Police search for teen’s murderer

Oxnard Police said a teen murder case may involve road rage.

They said 18-year-old Aaron Gomez of Oxnard was stabbed to death near the corner of Napoleon Avenue and Alexander Street around 10p.m. Thursday.

Lemonwood neighbors said the investigation kept them up all night.

They watched tow trucks take two cars away.

A friend of the victim left a candle in the alley, but did not want to comment.

Police called it a senseless crime.

They are urging anyone with information to call Oxnard’s Violent Crime Hotline at 805-982-7070.

Callers may remain anonymous.

This appears to be Oxnard sixth murder of the year.
