Brushfire breaks out at Mariposa Reina
Santa Barbara County firefighters battled a brushfire at Highway 101 and Mariposa Reina Sunday night.
The fire broke out just before 10 p.m.
Highway 101 had been closed for a short time but is now open to all traffic.
Fire officials tell NewsChannel 3 about two acres burned and they have contained the fire.
Crews will remain on scene mopping up. Strong north winds are blowing in that area.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
