Sidecar Restaurant hosts final dinner

It’s the end of an era for an iconic restaurant.

The Sidecar Restaurant on Main Street lost its lease after ten years in business.

Diners may actually sit in the historic train car at the entrance of the restaurant.

Chef and owner Tim Kilcoyne said he tried to negotiate a new lease but it wasn’t to be.

Kilcoyne said the closure isn’t about a lack of business. The Sidecar has been a popular spot for live Jazz and food. Before the chef looks for a new location, he is inviting everyone in for a Tuesday night celebration.

Kilcoyne said. “Thanks for all the support, ten years is a good run for the restaurant business. It’s always good to close some doors and move on to the next chapter.”
