Police search for man with gun near schools
Police were searching for a man with a gun on the 800 block of De La Guerra Street in a Santa Barbara apartment on Tuesday.
The investigation began at the Taco Bell on Milpas when witnesses said they saw a man shot a gun into a car.
Sgt. Riley Harwood said Santa Barbara High School and Junior High were not on lockdown due to the police activity.
Preliminary reports did, however say, that both schools did initiate a lockdown.
The suspect is described as a male wearing a white shirt, khaki pants and a black Raiders sports cap.
