DP’s volleyball season ends in Anaheim
Dos Pueblos put a scare into top-seeded Esperanza by winning the first set but the Aztecs avoided the upset by winning 22-25, 25-13, 25-22, 25-21 in a CIF-SS Division II Quarterfinals.
The Chargers could not slow down Jake Arnitz who tallied 40 kills.
San Marcos plays at Esperanza on Wednesday in a semifinal match. Santa Barbara hosts Foothill on Wednesday at Westmont College at 6 p.m.
