Woman jumps from cliffs above Arroyo Burro Beach

First responders rushed to Arroyo Burro Beach just after 12 p.m. after a woman jumped from the cliffs above.

Santa Barbara City fire, police, harbor patrol and paramedics drove about a mile along the beach where a woman was lying on the sand.

She was walking along the Douglas Family Preserve when she jumped down about 100 feet.

She was taken to Cottage Hospital for observation.
