DP, SB & S.Marcos all win at home to advance in volleyball playoffs

Home is where the wins are for Dos Pueblos, San Marcos and Santa Barbara as all three advanced toSaturday’s CIF Division II Quarterfinals in boys volleyball.

DP used four sets to turn back Burroughs of Burbank while San Marcos and Santa Barbara brought out the brooms.

Baker Johnson recorded 16 kills and Shane Hauschild added 14 to lead the Royals to an impressive three-set victory over El Segundo. San Marcos will play at Oaks Christian of Westlake on Saturday at 7p.m.

Tristan Fauntleroy and Ryan Worley each pounded 12 kills to lead Santa Barbara to an easy three set win against previously undefeated La Sierra of Riverside. The Dons will host Oak Park on Saturday at Westmont College.
