Walk for Water

This weekend at East Beach, teens and their families called attention to the need for clean drinking water around the globe. They say here in the United States we’re fortunate to have access to clean drinking water, but in many countries people walk miles to water wells that are often contaminated.

Ultimately, the health of those who consume the wateris affected. With donations received inSaturday’s Walk for Water, the organization says it will help clean and upgrade the quality of water wells abroad so others too may have clean drinking water.
