Cold case investigators look for leads

In June 1980, a young pregnant woman was found stabbed to death in a remote parking lot by Westlake High School.

Police never found out her name. Now cold case investigators are releasing a sketch in hopes that someone will identify her. They don’t think she was killed in that location. She could be from Kern County or another nearby county.

The autopsy showed that she was four months pregnant and had been pregnant before. It also showed that she was between the ages of 15 and 20. She appeared to be Hispanic or Native American.

She had penciled in eyebrows and wore a white pullover, black bra, red pants, and black open-toed heels.

If they can find out more about the murder victim cold case investigators think they can find the killer.
