Beach parking changes in Santa Barbara

New self-pay machines are now in place at Santa Barbara Waterfront parking lots.

The machines accept cash, coins, and both credit and debit cards.

The lots include Harbor West, Palm Park, Garden Street and Cabrillo East and West.

Drivers can buy a $3.00 ticket for three hours or a $7.00 ticket for all day parking.

The lots are patrolled regularly to make sure everyone parking there has paid.
