#17 Mustangs avoid sweep, beat rival Gauchos 7-6
Cal Poly avoided the three-game sweep to rival UC Santa Barbara with a 7-6 win Sunday.
UCSB scoredsix runs in the final threeinnings but it wasn’t enough to overcomefour errorsthat help hand the Mustangs a 6-0 lead.
Cal Poly improves to 20-9 on the year with a 3-3 record in conference play. The Gauchos fell to 16-14, 3-3 with the loss.
