Gocong cut by Browns

29-year old linebacker Chris Gocong was released by the Cleveland Browns. The former Carpinteria High School and Cal Poly star missed all of last year with an Achilles injury suffered in training camp.

Gocong was scheduled to make nearly 4.5 million dollars this year. Gocong started for the Browns in 2010 and 2011.
