Man attempts to rape former roommate
A San Luis Obispo man is behind bars accused of trying to rape his former roommate.
The assault happened around 9:30 a.m. on Friday in the 1200 block of Manzanita in San Luis Obispo.
Police officers arrested 28-year-old Bryan Kim after responding to a call of a possible rape.
Investigators say Kim entered the victim’s bedroom while she was sleeping. She woke up to find him naked in the bed.
The woman fought back and was able to escape. She was then able to call the police. The victim sustained minor injuries.
Kim’s bail is set at $100,000 and he is booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail.
