Santa Barbara Bank & Trust workers brace for more cuts

NewsChannel 3 has learned up to 400 Santa Barbara Bank & Trust workers will be laid off.

Sources tell us bank officials held a meeting Monday night notifying employees of the cuts, which may happen next Friday.

The cuts could also affect Union Bank workers, where there are two people doing the same job.

The two banks merged recently.

Calls to bank officials by NewsChannel 3 were not returned.
