One suspect changes plea while another tells all

There was a shocking twist in the Dystiny Myers murder trial Monday. One of the men accused changed his plea to not guilty while another gave chilling testimony.

Cody Miller refused to testify in the Dystiny Myers murder trial. He will also be tried in the death of the 15-year-old girl. Jason Greenwell also took the stand. He pleaded guilty to killing Myers and agreed to testify in the trials.

Greenwell said he overheard Rhonda Wisto and Ty Hill talking about how to get rid of a body the day before Myers’ death. He said Hill made a list of items he would need and Wisto provided the items needed.

Greenwell said all of the suspects were in the garage when Myers came in saying she was leaving. That’s when everyone followed her inside the home and then beat her. At one point, Greenwell told the jury how Myers’ beating took place and everyone’s role in it. Myers’ mother left the courtroom in tears.

He said during all of this, the defendants, Jacob York and Rhonda Wisto, had complete knowledge of the situation and played a major role in the young girl’s death.
