Westmont advances to NAIA Women’s Basketball Final Four

Since last December, the Westmont Warriors have had payback on their mind. Westminster of Pennsylvaniabeat the Warriors 62-29, its worst loss of the year.

Fittingly, Westmont (28-4) got a chance to make things right, this time in the NAIA Women’s Basketball Championship Tournament quarterfinals. Westmont beat Westminster 39-36 to advance to the NAIA Div. I Final Four.

Ester Lee led the Warriors with a game high 15 points, hitting three 3-pointers and shooting 9-17 overall from the floor.

Westmont’s Tugce Canitez added 10 points and 13 rebounds in the victory.
