Truck stuck under bridge

The driver of a Gemini Moving Specialists truck ended up getting stuck under a bridge on Los Patos Way in Santa Barbara about 9 a.m. Tuesday.

The driver told NewsChannel 3, he thought he missed his exit on southbound Highway 101.

So, he tried to get off at the next exit, which is Los Patos Way.
But, a bridge was about two inches too low.

The California Highway Patrol does not suspect drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.

The off-ramp was closed for about an hour, so a tow truck could be called in to pull the truck out.

Train traffic over the bridge was stopped for about 15 minutes, so the bridge could be inspected by CalTrans and railroad officials.
