Gauchos finish regular season with win; Next up Big West Tourney

Alan Williams led the way with 19 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks as UC Santa Barbara beat UC Riverside 56-46 on Saturday.

Riverside was led by Chris Harriel’s 18 points but UCSB pulled away in the final minutes. Santa Barbara outscored UCR by 13 in the second half.

The Gauchos moved up to the No. 7 seed in next week’s Big West Tournament in Anaheim. UCSB will play the University of Pacific on Thursday afternoon.
