San Marcos High School choral fundraiser

San Marcos High School‘s four choirs sang 136 songs Friday as part of a fundraiser.

It started at 12 p.m. and ended at 7:30 p.m. Similar to a school jog-a-thon, they ask for a flat pledge or pledge per song.

The high school’s goal is to take its groups to choir festivals in the Spring.

Last year they raised $11,000 at this one event. No word yet how much money was raised at Friday’s event.
