Oxnard sexual assault suspect in custody
A man is accused of sexually assaulting an unconscious woman he met at a downtown Oxnard nightclub.
The suspect is Hugo Alaniz from Oxnard.
Oxnard police say the victim had several alcoholic drinks at the nightclub before leaving with Alaniz to an after party at a nearby apartment last month.
Alaniz was arrested Tuesday and charged with rape of an intoxicated person.
