Lions start back up in State Tournament

The Lions girls basketball team has already made school history at Providence Hall, now they can achieve another first, a victory in the CIF State Tournament. They host AGBU at Westmont College tonight at 7 p.m.

By winning last Saturday 49-46 over Rio Hondo Prep, the Lions captured the school’s first CIF title in any sport. Now they can become the first sports team at the school to win a postseason game in the State Tournament.

Providence Hall enters this division 5 first-round game with a 19-5 record for the season.
