First Menudo Festival is Sunday

The Santa Barbara Police Department’s Youth police Explorer Program is hosting the first Menudo Festival.

Several local restaurants will be competing for best Menudo.

The contest will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Franklin Elementary School on 1111 E. Mason St.

Adult tickets cost $10, kids 4-12 will be charged $5 and kids 3 and younger are free.
