Youth Pastor pleads not guilty to all charges

A mother of a young teen spoke out Friday alleging sex and drug crimes against a local youth pastor.

Sheriff’s officials say “Louie” Bristol met the teens through the Carpinteria Community Church, then engaged in sex and drug crimes with them at the Holiday Inn Express, where he worked part time.

Charges include child molestation, child rape, lewd acts upon a child, and furnishing illegal substances to minors. An attorney representing the 28-year old entered a “not guilty” plea in court today to all of the charges.

Sandra Noffz, the mother of the 14-year-old alleged victim, is convinced there are others involved.

Noffz said, “my concern is the safety for children in the community and to make some people like Bristol are brought to justice and the truth be revealed.”

The church’s pastor, Reverend Jarrett Johnson, issued a statement today that reads in part, “our hearts go out to all of those affected by this situation; we will be keeping them in prayers.”
