Paso Robles man shot and killed

Tonight police are looking for the shooter connected to the death of a Paso Robles man over the weekend.

Police say 37-year-old Victor Sanchez was shot multiple times Saturday night at the apartment complex where he lived. Authorities received several 911 calls just before 9:30 p.m. “The guy was really nice and it’s just, it is kind of odd that something like that would happen to a guy like that,” said friend and neighbor Robert Cordoza.

First responders arrived to the 3100 block of Spring Street a few minutes later, but Sanchez was already dead. “The autopsy hasn’t been performed but he was pronounced dead at the scene. It appears he died due to multiple gunshot wounds,” said Paso Robles police Lt. Ty Lewis.
