Gauchos swept by USF in double header

UC Santa Barbara got blown away on a windy day at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium.

The Gauchos dropped both games of a Saturday double header to the University of San Francisco.

In game one, USF got a three-run home run from Justin Maffei in the top of the 7th to give the Dons the lead for good. San Francisco won game one 4-1 and game two 11-5. USF leads the series 2-1.

This is UCSB’s first home series of the year.
