UCSB loses close game at home to Hawaii

Just like in real estate, it’s all about location with the UCSB women’s basketball team. For some reason, Santa Barbara continues to struggle at home as they fall to 3-8 inside the Thunderdome after a 54-51 loss to Hawaii. Santa Barbara is 7-4 this season in road games.

With 4.5 seconds left and down 54-51, UCSB inbounded the ball to Melissa Zornig but her three-pointer was off the mark and Santa Barbara drops to 7-6 in the Big West Conference.

Sweets Underwood led UCSB with a game-high 16 points and Nicole Nesbit added 15.
