Westmont crushed at home in men’s basketball

With nothing at stake, the Westmont men’s basketball team barely showed up as they received a 95-58 beat down by Cal State San Marcos in a non-conference game. No Warriors player scored in double-figures as they were just 1 of 14 from three-point range.

Even though it was a battle of top ten teams in the NAIA, #6 Westmont has it’s eyes on a bigger prize, their first Golden State Athletic Conference title since 1992. The Warriors can win the league championship on Saturday night at home against Arizona Christian.

Former Carpinteria High School star Jacob Ranger scored 17 points for #7 Cal State San Marcos.
