Heart shaped pizza makes for a unique Valentine’s gift
If you are looking for a way to impress your Valentine besides flowers or chocolate, you might want to consider a hand made, heart shaped pizza.
Nardonne’s Pizzeria has been making these pizza’s for 37 years in San Luis Obispo County. It’s new for the Santa Barbara customers at its recently opened restaurant.
You can order the pizza with white or red cheese.
“It’s a very unique experience seeing somebody just amazed that we actually have red cheese on a heart shaped pizza,” said Ben Dougherty in the Nardonne’s kitchen. “The reaction is quite something.”
The restaurant is open extra hours on Valentine’s Day. The crew delivers the pizzas with a small box of candy and, if the customers emails a message, the pizza will include a specially printed note with those words for the recipient.
