House fire under investigation
The cause of a structure fire in Nipomo is under investigation.
San Luis Obispo County and Santa Maria fire crews were called to the fire at 108 E. Vintage St. on Sunday.
Crews found heavy smoke and fire from the garage spreading into the home. They were able to contain the flames to the kitchen.
The people inside the house were able to get out and no injuries were reported.
The structure is a total loss, with damage estimated at $300,000 and an extra $50,000 for the contents inside.
