Martial arts business wins national award
Martial Arts Family Fitness in Santa Barbara has received the top honor in the nation.
It was named the Martial Arts School of the Year at the Martial Arts Hall of Honors by Action Magazine in a ceremony held in New Jersey.
Co-owner Melody Meyer was also presented with the Outstanding Contribution to the Martial Arts Award.
The family-owned school began operations in 2002, and teaches both martial arts and fitness classes to all ages.
They also specialize in children’s life skills, and youth leadership.
