Westmont Hoops Sweep Double Header In Basketball
After leading 31-29 at half Westmont outscored Hope International 47-25 the rest of the way as they improved to 4-0 in the Golden State Athletic Conference with a 78-54 win in men’s college basketball. Jordan Sachs scored 16 points as the Warriors run their winning streak to 6 games and are now 16-3 on the year.The Westmont women trailed 27-20 at half but turned it completely around behind star Tugce Canitez. The senior scored 26 points and grabbed 20 rebounds and Westmont outscored Hope International by 27 points after halftime and won 69-49. Like the men the Westmont women are 4-0 in the GSAC.
