Ventura Outlasts Santa Barbara In Girls Basketball

For the second time this year in as many games, Santa Barbara came up just short against powerhouse Ventura in girls high school basketball. The Dons dropped their Channel League opener as they lost in overtime 70-63. Ventura also beat Santa Barbara just before Christmas by five points at the Tournament of Champions.
