Ventura Man Stabbed During Oxnard Robbery

A Ventura man was stabbed and robbed outside an Oxnard Liquor store.And it was all caught on surveillance tape.Police have not released the video, but they say they have some good leads because of it.The armed robbery happened in the parking lot of Chicago’s Liquor Store on North Ventura Road just after 10p.m. Wednesday night.A manager of the store said the customer couldn’t find the kind of wine he was looking for and left.A few minutes later he came back in covered in blood asking for help. When he got into his car to leave two men approached and demanded money.The victim gave them 15 dollars but they wanted more and stabbed him before running awayThe store manager called the police.The 40 year old victim is being treated for serious wounds.Police say they the suspects they are looking for are young men between the ages of 18 and 20.The City of VenturaShare your comments about this story with us on the KEY News Facebook page.
