Santa Barbara Police Locate Missing Autistic Teen

SANTA BARBARA – Santa Barbara Police have located an autistic teenager who wandered away from home early Monday morning.Police say 13-year-old Flavio Hernandez went missing from his home on the 600 block of Carrillo Street sometime after 4:00 a.m.His family told detectives they last saw him at 1:00 a.m. Authorities beefed up their search given that overnight temperatures in Santa Barbara dipped to 28 degrees. Hernandez was spotted after 9:00 in the morning at the main library in good condition. The La Cumbre Junior High School student is expected to spend the day back at home, catching up on his sleep.
