Private Jet Makes Emergency Landing

A technical problem forced a private jet to make an emergency landing at the Santa Barbara Airport. The pilot radioed the tower at about 11:45 on Saturday afternoon. The pilot was concerned about landing after a brake failure light went on during the flight. The Santa Barbara County Fire Department, Santa Barbara City Fire Department and two foam rigs at the airport were on standby. The jet landed safely just before noon. Four people were on board. No one was hurt. Mechanics are checking out the aircraft.
