Pilot in Deadly Crash Identified
The Coroner’s Unit of the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office has identified the pilot who died in a plane crash at the Oceano Dunes. The man is identified as 56-year-old Glen Phillip Ray of Grover Beach. Coroner’s investigators say, Ray died as a result of sharp force trauma injuries. The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are trying to figure out why Ray’s plane crashed on Wednesday afternoon.
