Cross Country Star Bryan Fernandez Chooses Oregon
The Gatorade California Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year Bryan Fernandez will attend the University of Oregon. He publicly made the decision at halftime of the Chargers boys basketball game against Santa Barbara. The Dos Pueblos senior could not resist the Ducks who are a powerhouse in cross country and track and field. Fernandez also strongly considered UCLA and Arizona State. Fernandez won the CIF Southern Section Division 2 title and the Division 2 California State championship in cross country.
