Conflict of Interest Delays Court Case

A former UCSB soccer player charged with battery for pushing a referee will go before a new judge in his case. Peter McGlynn allegedly shoved the ref after a Gaucho soccer match in October. Campus police arrested McGlynn on the field. Today Judge Eskin disqualified himself from hearing the case based on his association with the UCSB Athletic program.
