Bornand, Carter Talk About City Football MVP Awards

Dos Pueblos senior Nico Bornand and Bishop Diego junior Anthony Carter were the stars among all of the high school football players from Carpinteria to Goleta. Bornand was named the Defensive MVP by Presidiosports while Carter took home Offensive MVP honors. The players on the All-City team were honored at the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table luncheon at Harry’s. Bornand made 120 tackles this year for DP while Carter threw 7 touchdown passes and rushed for almost 800 yards for the Cardinals.
