Stabbing in Oxnard

An Oxnard man is behind bars this Monday morning for attempted murder.Police say, 25-year-old Lester Lefotu stabbed a 27-year-old Oxnard man several times Sunday night. The stabbing took place at the Imperial Mobile Home Park on Samuel Drive in Oxnard just before 6 p.m. A 9-1-1 hang-up brought police to the location. Police say, they found Lefotu as he attempted to leave the scene. Officers say, they do not know why Lefotu stabbed the victim, but they believe the two know each other. The victim is currently in stable condition.
