Second Storm Hits Central Coast

Another fast moving and cold storm system is expected for the overnight and well in to Sunday. Rain totals should be fairly light as this system is fairly dry. Most of the rain will actually stay to the north of Santa Barbara, but showers will be expected Tri County wide. In addition, chilly air is lingering from these Pacific storms and mountain snow is possible down to around three thousand feet! Highs on Sunday with the expected showers will be only in the low 60s. Look for some clearing Sunday night, but another good shot of rain is likely for Monday and as of right now, this storm could bring a decent amount of rain to the region. Clearing is expected by early Wednesday as winds turn briefly offshore through the middle of next week. The long range forecast gets very interesting as we head toward next weekend. Our forecast computer models are dealing with yet another approaching storm system. For now we will expect to see increasing clouds and maybe another chance for rain next weekend! So keep that umbrella and winter jacket handy! For more, head to the SkyTracker Forecast page.
